Onboarding IT access
Onboarding IT access and badges should take 1 week. In my experience it takes 1 week and a half, with realistically 2 weeks.
It removes a lot of initial friction not having to rethink internally how and to what a user's role gets access.
Build a mini-app "People Access". For a new hire (name, role, start date), show the onboarding checklist: share the role's @connector:drive folders, invite them to @connector:slack and @connector:github, add the first-week calendar events and draft a welcome email. Offboarding runs in reverse and lists every access to revoke. Each step needs a yes before it runs, and the app keeps a log of what was granted and what was removed. Include sample people.
No build this time: the Slack connector is not ready yet, so the audio explains what to do instead.
